Geeky find of the week: Studio Ghibli charm bracelet

A charming bracelet for charming films

By Emma Boyle April 20, 2016

We love the films created by Studio Ghibli: magical worlds, charming characters, sweeping scores, and beautiful art styles. Who could fail to enjoy that? We think our geeky find of the week this week is the perfect way to express that love. Created by Etsy user TiViBi, this charm bracelet features notable characters from Studio Ghibli films including grey Totoro, white Totoro, No Face, a soot sprite, and Bu, as well as leaves and mushrooms that reflect the common theme of nature in many of the studio’s films.

The charms on the bracelet are made from polymer clay by hand and really capture the colourful animation of the films. You can choose from 7 chain colours for the charms to be attached to. For the chain and all the charms the cost is £13.73 plus £6.17 shipping. Though this is a more general celebration of Ghibli’s films the store has other, more specific bracelets with charms inspired by  single films such as Princess Mononoke, Howl’s Moving Castle and My Neighbour Totoro.
