For the last couple of weeks, we’ve been asking the generous folks of Twitter and Facebook to donate a virtual Easter egg to help kids who’ve been bullied and trolled online.
Called #EggAid, our campaign finished yesterday and we’re over the moon to announce that of our £500 target, we raised…
An amazing £841.50!!!
The money has been sent to anti-bullying charity Cybersmile, and is enough to pay for 8 new volunteers to help counsel children and teenagers being targeted online.
We’ve also drawn the lucky winners of the EggAid prizes…
Congratulations to Catherine Murray (@Cathmur) who wins the giant haul of Easter eggs:
And Emma Sparks (@Sparksy3) who gets all that Cakes With Faces swag:
We’d like to say an eggnormous thank you to prize sponsors PAT Testing Expert and Cakes With Faces, both of whom you should check out because they are eggcellent.
And of course, a GIGANTEGG thank you to everyone who tweeted, shared, wrote about #EggAid or made a donation. You are all very, very good eggs.
