Watch: Editor Holly answers kids’ questions about tech journalism

"Does it ever get boring?"

I was lucky enough to visit a really forward-thinking school recently: Gillespie Primary School in Islington, where there’s a gym in the playground and coding lessons in the classroom. I was there to talk about working in tech journalism - why I love it so much, and why we need lots of bright young minds to be the next generation of tech writers.

The year 5 kids I met were fascinated by the job and had loads of questions, which they wrote down for me to think about. I’ve answered some of them in this video - hopefully they’ll help encourage more kids to consider this amazing job as their future career.

Huge thanks to year 5 and their Inventor in Residence, Carole Kenrick, for having us in.
